Lech Lecha: The courage to begin

“Lech lecha — go for yourself.” Hashem does not tell Avraham where he is going. He tells him only to begin.

So much of our avodah is like this. We wait for clarity, for the perfect moment, for the full map. Avraham teaches us that holiness is found in the first step.

A step this week

Choose one small thing — a few extra minutes of learning, a call to someone who is alone, an early arrival to minyan — and begin. The path reveals itself to those who walk it.
